Water Poem 2
In solitude we are water
In stillness we become stagnant,
Rushing downstream we carry the world...
In all its beauty and in all its despair
We drink from each other, swirl like a whirlpool
or dance to the ripples in our souls
we are waves lapping over each other
kissing the shores we every movement in
leaving treasure from our deeper selves behind
we wear the jagged stone, carve it smooth over time
we reign from the heavens, float among the clouds
and bring the desert to life, only to let it sleep again
until our tears wash clean our souls once more
